A Picture Says How Many Words?

I promised pictures from New York and I am here to finally deliver them.

A picture of Dub and myself from the TKTS bleachers in Times Square. Every tourist needs a picture of themselves in Times Square.

Ended up going to Coney Island -- where the park was closed and the people who were crazy enough to be in the insane cold avoided eye contact with you. Here's a picture of the lone (and fake) palm tree, with the sand and snow covering the ground.

At points the snow looked really pretty, especially when caught in the light with the camera. Then I remembered that it was cold, and the snow turned into the enemy very quickly. It makes for a good picture though.

And here is the famous Nathan's -- a hot dog place on Coney Island. They were good. Definitely a great snack after walking around all morning.

Here's a view of the skyline from the middle of Central Park during the day. We would have spent a lot more time at the park had it not been 10 degrees outside. However, the park was beautiful, snow and all, and was fairly empty when we went.

We were able to experience a lot of places in NYC -- from the touristy locals (like all of the pictures) to the hole-in-the-wall places, like Jimmy's Corner and PDT. We had a great time and a wonderful experience.
